ANIMAL RIDDLES – POEMS WRITTEN BY YEAR 5
November 15, 2011 in Creative Arts, Front Page News, Literacy (5) by Mr Wain
A collection of poems written by Year 5. The aim was to describe an animal, using similes, metaphors and, where possible, personification. The reader then guesses what the creature is!
The first poem below is the Class Poem that we wrote collaboratively. The inspiration for the poem came from Pie Corbett, whom we have been studying in our Poetry unit this half term. Below is the full book of poems written by Year 5 – Enjoy!

Year 6 Technology Challenge

These are the results of their endeavours:
For more information regarding individual recipes, please contact the class. The names of these recipes are: Spider Surprise (The Winner), Treasure Island, BBQ Melt and Kidz Sunshine Surprise.
There is another one, Cheesy Chicken Pasta, for which I will upload a photo
shortly. And here it is!
You will be pleased to know that all children took part and contributed significantly.
