Last year, you may remember Year 5 taking part in a European chain reaction with 13 other countries. This weekend we received notice that the project had won the “2011 medea award.” The award was down to the outstanding partnership between the European friends, under the guidance of Dave Schrauwen (from our twin-school, Qworzo in Merksplas, Belgium)
Here is a link to the website – click to read the report and view the video.

As winners of the award, our school has been given Smart tech software worth over £1,600. WELLDONE to all who contributed to such a worthwhile project!

A big thank you to everyone who helped out with both the Foundation/Key Stage One and Key Stage 2 productions! The children were fabulous, The little Black Cloud was wonderful and the children sang beautifully in Key Stage 2. Thank you also to everyone who donated food and harvest produce.
